California walnuts (use quantity desired)
Baking: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange walnuts on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, checking frequently.
Stovetop: Cook walnuts in a skillet at medium-high heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Note: Walnuts can be toasted dry or with a dash of oil.
Super easy recipe, and a great way to prep the nuts for tossing in a salad.
FYI: Watch your Nuts..Depending on what shelf you use and your oven the cooking times vary. Make sure to use the center shelf in the oven. I made the mistake of using the top shelf lucky I checked them early. Also If you are using Walnut pieces it will be about 7 minutes.
