Prizes
Everyone who enters the “Smart Salad” Recipe Contest has a chance to win one of sixteen prizes. Contestants who enter multiple recipes have a chance of winning multiple prizes.
PRIZES AWARDED TO RANDOMLY SELECTED WINNERS
Twelve (12) randomly selected winners will be awarded prizes throughout the contest.
Each month, six winners will be chosen by a random drawing of all new qualifying recipes from each category. One Prize will be awarded per recipe category each month.
Monthly prizes awarded on a random basis may include one of the following:
- “I LOVE Walnuts!” aprons
- Walnut Wood Mortar & Pestle
GRAND PRIZES
Four (4) Grand Prizes will be awarded at the end of the contest.
The Grand Prize will be awarded to the recipe entry receiving the highest score among all entries in the following categories:
- Entrée Salads
- Side Salads
- Fruit Salads
Plus, Chef Charlie Ayers will select an additional Grand Prize winner for the recipe that best utilizes the Smart Salads tips on this website.
The Grand Prize will be a Handmade California Walnut Wood Salad Bowl.
