Here is a trail mix that includes puffed whole-grain cereal that can stretch out your grazing time, and make it last longer without blowing your healthy eating. The addition of dark chocolate will only extend your satisfaction!
- 1 cup lightly toasted California walnuts (halves or coarsely chopped)
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1/4 cup dried cherries
- 3 1/2 cups unsweetened whole-grain puffed cereal
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips – or broken pieces of dark chocolate
Combine everything, and store in a zip-style bag (or individual single-serving bags) in the refrigerator.
