Ingredients

    • 2 cups granulated sugar
    • 1/2 cup orange juice
    • 1 tsp orange extract
    • 4 cups California walnut halves and pieces

Directions

    1. In a medium saucepan, bring the sugar and orange juice to a boil over medium-high heat; boil for 1 minute.
    2. Remove from heat and stir in orange extract and walnut halves and pieces; stir until coating sets.
    3. Spread on a baking sheet to cool.  Makes 4 cups.
