Based in Northern Virginia, Cheryl helps people to make healthy choices that are fulfilling, flexible, and fun.
Cheryl coaches busy professionals, families, and budding amateur athletes to master their unique nutritional needs. Through presentations and articles, she translates the latest nutrition and behavioral science into meaningful and actionable guidance for the public.
Organizations that focus on food, health, and wellness consult with Cheryl to develop and implement outreach programs that engage food, health professional, and nutrition science communities around issues of common concern. Stemming from this area of her work, she recently completed a 3-year fellowship with the Nutritional Science Research Group in the Division of Cancer Prevention (DCP) at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), in which she initiated a public/private initiative on “Enhancing Translation of Nutrition Science from Bench to Food Supply.”
