Air Quality

Walnut farmers in California address air quality issues using contemporary technologies that reduce pesticides, minimize dust and smoke, and reduce airborne particulate matter less than 10 microns (PM 10).  


The following California Walnut Board funded IPM practices have had a dramatic effect in reducing pesticide usage and thereby, contamination of our air:
