This Walnut Maple Tart is wonderful to enjoy after a delicious fall meal. The walnuts add a hearty taste to the maple flavoring!

Ingredients

2 eggs

2 yolks

5½ oz. maple sugar

3 oz. butter – melted

7 oz. walnuts, toasted & ground

½ tspn salt

9 inch – prebaked tart or pie crust

Directions
  1. In a mixer whip the eggs, yolks and sugar till thick and smooth. Stir in the melted butter and salt - then fold in the ground walnuts by hand. Pour into a pre-baked tart shell and bake at 350 degrees till set – 35-40 minutes.
  2. Serve with fresh fruit compote, whipped cream or ice cream.
