David Kinch

David Kinch, executive chef and owner of the 2007-2009 Two-Michelin Star restaurant Manresa, creates imaginative menus inspired by France and northern Spain with an emphasis on local ingredients, many coming from the restaurant’s own garden. Kinch has mastered cuisine with high quality, seasonal, biodynamic ingredients. From his hulking, handmade French “suite” of ovens and flameless cooking surfaces, Kinch has created a confident, sometimes playful, cerebral brand of cooking that pierces the heart of flavor of each ingredient. Throughout his career, Kinch has earned prestigious critical acclaim, including a Michelin Star rating; Four Stars from Michael Bauer of the S.F. Chronicle; Four Star reviews from Mobile Travel Guide; America’s Best Farm-to-Table Restaurants from Gourmet Magazine; 2008 Top 40 Restaurants in the US from Gayot; Top 100 Bay Area Restaurants 2009 by San Francisco Chronicle; one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants from Restaurant Magazine, London.
