Jeff Clark
Chef Jeff Clark, executive chef for Nugget Markets, started his culinary career as a teen, when his father and uncle taught him the art of homemade charcuterie and wine. Chef Jeff worked his way through graduate school in local Bay Area and Sacramento restaurants before joining the Nugget family in 2006.
Nugget Markets has been a family-owned business since 1926, when it was started in Woodland, Calif., by the Stille family. The Stilles are still running the place today, now with nine Nugget Market locations in the greater Sacramento area. Nugget Markets has a long standing reputation for providing its customers with superior quality produce, meats, deli foods and grocery products.
Chef Jeff has been instrumental in opening three new Nugget Markets, sharing his expertise and love of food through community outreach, while at the same time creating unique and inspired recipes. Chef Jeff has launched the Nugget Market Recipe Archive with his simple food philosophy, “Use the best ingredients and do very little to them so their natural flavors shine.”
