Ken Frank
Ken Frank is the chef-proprietor of La Toque restaurant in the Napa, California. When Ken Frank learned there was an opportunity to build a new restaurant in The Westin Verasa, Napa, in the fall of 2008, he considered it a good omen. He decided to take his 10 year old restaurant La Toque, previously located in Rutherford and move into to the The Westin Verasa, Napa. La Toque is a showcase for Chef Frank’s modern French cuisine and his passion for fine wine. Since moving to Napa Valley, this “French chef in a California body,” as he likes to call himself, has pushed his cuisine in a more harmonious wine friendly direction. La Toque has become known for its savvy wine pairings and La Toque was named one of “Americas Best Restaurants” by Wine Spectator Magazine. In 2007 La Toque was awarded a prestigious Michelin Star. Chef Frank lives in Napa with his wife Sherylle. They have two kids, ages 19 and 29. In his spare time he enjoys the never ending woodwork and varnishing of their vintage Chris Craft Constellation, “Loup de Mer” berthed on the Napa River.
