Todd Humphries
Chef Todd Humphries has been a stellar presence on the national culinary scene for most of his celebrated 20 plus-year career, leading some the country’s most prominent restaurants and continually raising the standard of excellence. In spring 2011, Chef Humphries introduced his newest project, Kitchen Door, a one-of-a-kind social gathering place located in Oxbow Public Market in downtown Napa’s Oxbow District.
Chef Humphries is celebrated for his inventive and adventurous use of wild and foraged ingredients to create distinctive dishes and spectacular tasting menus. While at the helm of the popular Martini House in St. Helena, the restaurant earned a Michelin Star and numerous accolades over its nine year-run. Chef Humphries is well known for his comfort food that is prepared with the freshest, most seasonal items available.
Throughout his career, Chef Humphries has earned prestigious critical acclaim, including a Michelin Star, an AAA Five Diamond Award, four-star reviews from major San Francisco Bay Area daily newspapers such as the San Francisco Chronicle, inclusion in Saveur magazine’s “The Saveur 100” list, and consistently receives laudatory Zagat ratings.
