U.S. Public Relations Agency

The California Walnut Board (CWB) and California Walnut Commission (CWC) are announcing a formal request for proposal for a public relations agency in the United States. The CWB/CWC, headquartered in Folsom, CA, conducts marketing activities on behalf of the California walnut industry. The CWB/CWC utilizes a public relations agency to coordinate and carryout activities on our behalf. The public relations agency will conduct broad reaching programs that target consumers, as well as, health professionals. Interested firms are requested to formulate and submit a proposal for this account. Background information and Request for Proposal (RFP) selection guideline criteria can be obtained by emailing rfp@walnuts.org.

All inquiries and requests must be made in writing, in English. All final proposals must be received no later than September 15, 2010.

U.S. Advertising Agency

The California Walnut Board (CWB) and California Walnut Commission (CWC) are announcing a formal request for proposal for an advertising agency in the United States. The CWB/CWC, headquartered in Folsom, CA, conducts marketing activities on behalf of the California walnut industry. The CWB/CWC utilizes a creative agency to coordinate and carryout activities on our behalf. The creative agency will produce collateral, signage and trade show materials, and advertisements. This agency will also place ads for health professional and consumer advertising. Ideally, this agency would also be able to manage website updates, e-newsletters, and online promotions. Interested firms are requested to formulate and submit a proposal for this account.
