“This recipe started out as an oatmeal cookie recipe and evolved into my Oatmeal, Walnut, Cranberry Bar. I have always loved to bake. Creating new recipes is something I have just recently started doing. My family, friends and co-workers are always asking me to bake these cookie bars - I knew they were a big hit!”

“This dense, moist and chewy chocolate bread has become a Christmas tradition. It is perfect for a brunch, for afternoon coffee, or to bring into the office to share as a holiday treat. Nothing says holidays like walnuts and chocolate, and the bright red cherries make it festive.”

Breakfast / Brunch
Submitted By: Charlene Chambers
“I created this recipe using several recipes to combine my favorite flavors. Walnuts and cranberries make a lovely marriage and I thought the Grand Marnier would add a special kick for a special meal. I love having a great recipe to serve to guests or for a special occasion that you can prepare the day before and then, with no fuss in the morning, pop it into the oven like you have been fussing for hours.”
