Ingredients

  • 2 cups walnut halves and pieces
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 ½ cups basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (Use vegan parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast if dairy free/vegan/paleo)

Preparation

  1. Combine walnuts, avocado, basil, garlic and cheese (or cheese sub) into food processor, pulse until meal forms.
  2. Add avocado, lemon juice and water and process until smooth.  For a thinner consistency add more water, for a thicker spread add less water.
